NGC 752
A large open cluster in Andromeda, about 1,490 light-years away, which spans 75 arcminutes.
Le Cœur et l'Âme · Photograph by the author · 3h 47m of exposure, DwarfLab DWARF 3
At 1.34 billion years old, which is a lot for an open cluster, it counts 258 member stars according to a 2018 study. It spills well beyond the telescope's field of view: the photo shows only part of it, and the centre of the cluster falls towards the top of the frame. In the middle of the image, three brighter, yellowish stars form a small triangle.
