NGC 1513
An open cluster in Perseus, spotted by William Herschel in 1790.
Le Cœur et l'Âme · Photograph by the author · 3h 47m of exposure, DwarfLab DWARF 3
It is about 4,310 light-years away, and its 12 arcminutes correspond to about 15 light-years; one estimate gives it 129 million years. In the photo, it is not at the centre but above and to the right: a swarm of fairly faint stars of similar brightness.
